FAIRBORN, Ohio (January 15, 2022) – The Southern Ohio PGA Junior Tour is now accepting membership registrations for the 2022 season.

Since 2008, the Southern Ohio PGA Junior Tour has provided a superior junior golf experience to young athletes throughout Central and Southern Ohio. SOPGA Jr. Tour members develop on the golf course through Players Tour and Junior Series events in Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati. As their golf games improve on the course, SOPGA Jr. Tour members also mature as people while building friendships with each other that thrive long after the last putt of the round drops.

The Southern Ohio PGA Jr. Tour Membership is available to all junior amateurs, ages 9-19, living in the state of Ohio. Any junior not living in the state of Ohio is required to submit proof of active enrollment in an Ohio school. The application is also open to juniors who have not yet reached their 19th birthday or begun their freshman year of college by midnight on the last day of the final event on the schedule.

Members ages nine and up are eligible to participate in the Junior Series. These are 18-hole events played at golf courses in Cincinnati and Columbus in a single day. Players will participate in their respective gender category in the 9-12, 13-15 or 16-19 age division. Players in the 9-12 age division will have the option to play 9-holes or 18-holes and will be eligible to have a parent caddy assist them around the course. Players will participate in either the 13-15 or 16-19 age division in their respective gender category. Players Tour members will also be eligible to participate in the single-day events in the Junior Series. Click here to view the 2022 Players Tour Schedule.
