FAIRBORN, OH – The Southern Ohio PGA, through the PGA REACH Southern Ohio Foundation, is pleased to open the Junior Golf Grant Application for the 2023 golf season. The program will continue to provide financial assistance to qualifying juniors to help offset the cost of Southern Ohio PGA Junior Tour events.

Families who feel their junior golfer may qualify for the SOPGA Junior Golf Grant from the PGA REACH Southern Ohio Foundation may complete the application online. All applications will be reviewed by the Southern Ohio PGA Section Staff and Junior Golf Committee on a seasonal basis with grants awarded dependent on the number of qualified applicants and availability of funds. The award of the Junior Golf Grant can only be used to cover costs associated with SOPGA Junior Tour events and does not guarantee entry into specific events. Recipients will still be required to follow standard SOPGA Junior Tour program requirements and procedures to participate in specific events.

The mission of the PGA REACH Southern Ohio Foundation is to grow the game, uphold its traditions,  instill its core values while creating memories for generations to come. Programs like this are made possible through the generous support  of the Southern Ohio golf community through events like the Play Yellow Birdie Bash and the PGA REACH Southern Ohio Pro Am and through support from SOPGA Jr. Golf partners like the Memorial Tournament.
