Q: What is your favorite golf course you’ve ever played?

TK: That is a tough question. For my favorite course I think I would have to go with Canterbury Golf Club up by Cleveland. The course is beautiful and a lot of fun to play, I would love to go back and get to play it again.

Q: Do you work with a golf instructor?

TK: Yes, I work with Wyatt Wilson, PGA from NCR Country Club. He has done a lot for me and my golf game and is a big reason why I am at the level that I am at.

Q: When did you start playing golf and what got you interested in the game?

TK: I have always played golf. My whole family plays golf including my cousins and grandparents, but I did not take it serious until about 10 years old. I was interested in golf from the start but what caught my eye was that you can always get better. You will never master the game. When we think we have it, we will lose it the next day. As frustrating as that may be, it is a big reason why I love it so much.

Q: If you had to play an entire round of golf with only one club, what club would you choose?

TK: I would use my 7 iron. I can blade it off the tee if I have to try to get some extra distance out of it but it is still good enough that I can chip and putt with it. I just think that it is probably the most versatile club in my bag and it would be a lot of fun to use.

Q: If you could play golf with anyone, who would be your dream foursome and where would you play?

TK: I would pick Tiger Woods,  Justin Thomas, and Collin Morikowa and we would play at Augusta National. I think that there is so much that you can learn from those three guys based off of all the success that they have had at every level of golf and to get to play at Augusta would be a dream come true for any golf fan.

Q: What was the highlight of your summer golf experience with the SOPGA?

TK: I really liked the four-ball event that was played at Wedgewood Country Club. It was a lot of fun to get to team up with my brother Matthew and to go out and win was great. I also had a summer event that I shot 68 in which was really cool. It was good to see that I have the ability to go low and that really helped me during the rest of summer and the high school season.

Q: What do you like to do outside of golf?

TK: Outside of golf I like to hang out with my friends and just relax. I put in a lot of work on my golf game so it is nice to get away from it for a little bit and just be a kid. I also like to watch my school play sports like football and basketball. It’s a good way to spend time with my friends and supporting other students at our school.
