Q: What is your favorite golf course you’ve ever played?

OJ: I would have to go with New Albany Country Club. It is always in great shape and is a lot of fun to play.

Q: When did you start playing golf and what got you interested in the game?

OJ: I started in 6th grade and was not very good. My dad played a lot and I was asked to play on a team so I tried it. Since then I have fallen in love with the sport and it is one of my favorite things to do!

Q: If you had to play an entire round of golf with only one club, what club would you choose?

OJ: It might be a little different, but I would go with my driver. You can hit it off the tee like normal and it would be perfect for hitting bump and run shots. It is also the closest thing to using a putter so it would be easier to putt with and good enough to use everywhere else. It would also just be a lot of fun to use.

Q: If you could play golf with anyone, who would be your dream foursome and where would you play?

OJ: My dream group to play golf with would be Lexi Thompson, Nelly Korda, and Tiger Woods. I think that they would be great to play with and I could learn a lot from playing with them. If I am given the chance to play anywhere, I would have to pick Augusta National. It looks amazing on television and I would love to get to play a round of golf there!

Q: What was the highlight of your summer golf experience with the SOPGA?

OJ: I worked really hard this season, and to win the Junior Series Player of the Year was a really good feeling. It is a long summer with a lot of practice, so to see it all pay off and win that award made me feel really good about my hard work. It was also really nice going into the high school season with that accomplishment.

Q: What do you like to do outside of golf?

OJ: Golf is always my first choice when it comes to what to do. However, I do like to hang out with friends, family and we love to travel!
