Q: What is your favorite golf course you’ve ever played?

AM: My favorite course that I have played is the Kampen Course at Purdue University. The course was so fun to play and it was a really cool experience playing where a Division I University plays.

Q: When did you start playing golf and what got you interested in the game?

AM: I started playing the summer after 5th grade. My mother just signed me up at some golf camps at NCR country club and so I went and it was a lot of fun! The staff there made me very interested in playing more. Since then I have really loved getting better and improving and that played a role in making me want to play golf in college.

Q: If you had to play an entire round of golf with only one club, what club would you choose?

AM: I would use my 8-iron. It is probably the most reliable club in my bag. I always seem to hit it really well. It also has enough loft on it that I think I could use it around the greens and putt with it. All in all, it’s just my favorite club to use.

Q: If you could play golf with anyone, who would be your dream foursome and where would you play?

AM: Wow, that’s a really hard question. There are so many good choices that I could pick. I have to pick Tiger Woods, there is just so much that you could learn from playing a round with him. Then I would pick Phil Mickleson. He seems like he would be really funny and hearing how he picks what shot he hits would be so cool. Then I would pick Michelle Wie-West. She did so much for women’s golf  and is one of my role models when it comes to golf. That would be a super fun group to play in. I would have to say we are playing at Augusta National. I mean, how could you not pick that golf course, right?

Q: What was the highlight of your summer golf experience with the SOPGA?

AM: That’s a really good question. I think any time I get to play an SOPGA match with my high school teammates and friends Morgan Rogers and LeeAnn Harker in an event! It was so much fun to get to play with my friends and sort of have a look into our upcoming high school season.

Q: What do you like to do outside of golf?

AM: Outside of golf, I like to do gymnastics. It is a good sort of escape from golf. Other than that I like to hang out with my friends which normally ends up circling back to golf. I also really love my cats, and I love to travel and see new places.
