Q: Do you work with a golf coach? If yes, what is his/her name?

MS: Sometimes I work with Travis Mumma, PGA of Troy Country Club, my home course, if I need to clean up my game.

Q: What is your favorite golf course?

MS: My favorite golf course that I’ve ever played is probably Arcadia Bluffs in Michigan. The course sits on Lake Michigan and the views out there were amazing. I really hope I can go back and play there again sometime.

Q: What’s on your playlist right now?

MS: I currently have the Zach Bryan and Eric Church bug but it changes every day. I would say my favorite song at the moment is “Like Jesus Does” by Eric Church.

Q: If you had to play a round of golf with only one club, what club is it and why?

MS: I would pick my 8 iron. It’s in the middle of the bag so I think you can figure out how to hit some shots that you would really struggle with if you had a longer or shorter club.

Q: When did you start playing golf and what got you interested in the game?

MS: I started playing golf when I was 9, because my dad took me along to the course when he played. I got serious about the game in 2022 when I realized how much I loved the challenge of competing against myself, the course, and other golfers.

Q: If you could play golf with anyone, who would be your dream foursome and where would you play?

MS: I would pick me, my dad, Tiger Woods, and Jack Nicklaus to play at Augusta National!

Q: What was the highlight of your summer golf experience?

MS: I would say the highlight of my summer golf experience was when I holed out on number 14 for eagle at Muirfield Village. It was one of the coolest moments of my golf career and it was also the first time I’ve ever holed out for eagle.

Q: What do you like to do outside of golf?

MS: My family currently has a ping pong rivalry going on so I’m pretty much always looking for a game. I also really like to go skiing with my family out in Colorado.

Q: You just finished a tournament in first place, how do you celebrate?
MS: After winning a tournament I love going to get Roosters chicken wings!
