The 2025 SOPGA Jr. Tour season had a consistent face at the top of every leaderboard in the boy 13-15 division. Lucas Massa of Howard, Ohio, for the third consecutive year, dominated all summer long and claimed player of the year in style.

Lucas has several noteworthy tournaments this season. Starting off the first event of the year, claiming first place at the Lancaster Jr. Open with a smooth 76. Lucas proceeded to earn runner up in the next 5 events. Then Lucas claims first place in the National Links Jr. Open with an impressive 74.

Lucas competed in the Junior PGA Championship held at Pipestone Golf Club and had a great showing, finishing T7 with a 75-73. Even though it was just shy of his goal to earn a spot in the championship, Lucas has all the talent he needs to claim that ticket in the years to come.

Following the Junior PGA Championship, Lucas finished first place in his last five of six tournaments! What a way to end the season at some challenging and testing venues. A notable round of 73 at the SOPGA Jr. Tour Championship held at Springfield Country Club. A challenging venue that showed to be an easy task for such a talented player.

Congrats to Lucas Massa on an incredible season. We look forward to watching him back in action next summer as he goes for four Player of the Year trophies!
