POWELL, OH (June 27, 2022) – Team Kreusch and Kreusch and Team Hu and Gong come out on top at the Player’s Tour Four-Ball Championship supported by Mizuno Golf hosted at Wedgewood Golf & Country Club.
Golf can be such an individual sport when players are competing by themselves, but the Player’s Tour Four-Ball makes the game a bit more exciting by allowing players the opportunity to play with a teammate by their side!
Matthew and TJ Kreusch, brothers from Kettering, OH, often practice golf together and decided to team up in the Four-Ball Boy’s Division. Although they started the round with a bogey on the first hole, they followed it with a birdie to get back to even-par. Four more birdies in the round earned them the Four-Ball Championship at four-under-par 68. Springboro High School teammates Gavin Augenstein and Bradley Hinkel fought hard for the championship but finished one stroke behind the leaders. Friends Tate Armstrong and Grant Woodruff finished in third place at two-under-par 70.

They carded a few bogeys on the round but bounced back with birdies to follow. Sisters from Columbus, OH, Emma and Madi Kim, finished in second place at five-over-par 77. Friends from Loveland, Ohio Olivia Zirpoli and Libby Temming finished at six-over-par, 78 and in third place.

Mizuno Golf has been a longtime Partner of the Southern Ohio PGA Section and it’s PGA Professionals.
