Emma Gebhart of Columbus, OH put together a season to remember in 2025, earning the title of SOPGA Jr. Tour Girls 13-15 Player of the Year. With two victories, three runner-up finishes, and consistent top performances across the schedule, Gebhart established herself as one of the tour’s most reliable and competitive players.
Her year began with a statement win at the Sharon Woods Jr. Open (April 26), where she shot 88 to take home the title. After a solid showing at the Locust Hills Jr. Open (May 24), she built momentum in June with back-to-back runner-up finishes. At the Grizzly Jr. Championship (June 2–3), she carded 86-80 for a two-day total of 166, good for second place. A week later, she nearly matched that performance with another second-place finish at the Granville Jr. Classic – NB3 Qualifier (June 9–10).
Gebhart continued to prove her consistency with a top-five at the Apple Valley Jr. Championship (June 16–17) and a seventh-place finish at the Junior PGA Championship (June 23–24). She closed out the month with yet another runner-up result at the Losantiville Jr. Classic (June 30–July 1).
July showcased her ability to deliver under pressure. At the Beavercreek Jr. Classic (July 21–22), Gebhart claimed her second win of the season, shooting 82-80 for a 162 total to earn the victory. She capped her outstanding season with a strong second-place finish at the SOPGA Jr. Tour Championship (July 28–29), securing her Player of the Year honors.
With her steady play and ability to rise to the occasion in big events, Gebhart proved herself as a force in the Girls 13-15 division. Her two wins, combined with multiple podium finishes, highlighted both her consistency and her competitive spirit.
