Fairborn, OH – The Northern Ohio PGA and Southern Ohio PGA are thrilled to announce the return of the Junior Ohio Cup this Fall. This highly anticipated team format competition will once again feature the best junior golfers from across the state, as players from the NOPGA and SOPGA face off. The event is set to take place on October 18-20, 2024 at the prestigious Columbus Country Club in Columbus, OH.

Junior Tour Members from each organization will have the opportunity to qualify for the 16-person team. The team will be made up of 8 boys and 8 girls who will compete in Four-Ball and Singles matches.

“Building on the success of last year’s event, we are excited to continue this new tradition with the second annual Junior Ohio Cup,” noted David Griffith, Executive Director of Northern Ohio PGA. “We look forward to another fantastic competition, showcasing the exceptional talents and sportsmanship of our juniors. Collaborating with our counterparts from Southern Ohio has been a rewarding experience, and we are eager to see the best juniors from both sections come together once again.”

How to Qualify:

  • Winners of the Junior PGA Championship will earn an automatic bid, provided they are members of their respective Junior Tour (Northern/Southern Ohio)
  • 5 boys and 5 girls will be selected from the Player of the Year points list in the 16-19 age divisions
  • 2 boys and 2 girls will be selected from the Player of the Year points list in the 13-15 age divisions
